Societed welcomes original work that explores the evolving relationship between climate, culture, and society. We are interested in thoughtful, well-crafted stories that investigate the ecological, cultural, and philosophical dimensions of our time. This may include reflections on environmental change, cultural responses to the climate crisis, emerging practices of restoration, or the deeper connections between human life and the natural world. We encourage submissions that are rigorous yet imaginative, work that combines strong narrative with careful research, visual sensitivity, and intellectual curiosity. Essays, long-form journalism, photo essays, visual storytelling, and creative nonfiction are all welcome.
